Overview: In spring 2023, PwC and Microsoft launched Banking Horizons, a joint showcase for digital transformation in the banking industry. Departing from traditional formats, the event was a strategic effort to engage a time-strapped C-suite audience. The objective was to create a distinctive profile for both firms in a crowded market, positioning them as the premier partners for navigating the digital future.

Deliverables: Working with three external agencies and high-level stakeholders, we curated an immersive environment featuring a technology theatre with cutting-edge exhibits. Highlights included the Infinite Financial Solutions app and high-profile speakers such as Professor Brian Cox. To drive engagement, we designed sensory-rich breakout spaces and interactive sessions focused on the critical challenges keeping clients up at night.

Results: Banking Horizons attracted 360 registrations and received exceptional feedback, particularly for its commitment to diversity and inclusion. The initiative successfully transformed market perceptions and proved the combined strength of PwC and Microsoft. By creating a unique space for industry leaders to connect, the event strengthened the strategic bond between both firms and established a new benchmark for industry collaboration.
